What data we collect
When you submit an inquiry or contact us, we collect the data you provide: name, email, phone, town or region, the selected model and your message.
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address and a record of your consent and its timestamp.
When visiting the site, technical data (e.g. IP address in server logs) may be recorded automatically to keep the site secure and working.
Providing your data is voluntary; without it we cannot reply to your inquiry or send the newsletter.
Purpose and legal basis
We process inquiries to reply, advise, prepare an offer and arrange a demo, delivery and service – the basis is steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We send the newsletter based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
For site security, operation, improvement and cookieless traffic measurement we rely on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Processors and international transfers
Two contracted processors handle data on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (website hosting and analytics) and Resend, Inc. (email delivery).
Both are based in the US. Transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which both are certified.
Data retention
Inquiry data is kept for the duration of handling and a reasonable period afterwards for warranty or agreement matters, then deleted or anonymised.
Newsletter data is kept until consent is withdrawn. Data we must keep by law (e.g. accounting) is kept for the statutory periods.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw consent (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing). We carry out no automated decision-making or profiling.
To exercise your rights, write to info@heko.si. You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, gp.ip@ip-rs.si, tel. +386 1 230 97 30.
Cookies and analytics
To measure traffic we use cookieless analytics that store no personal identifiers on your device; the legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To measure the performance of our online advertising we may use Google Ads and Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited. Their cookies (e.g. _gcl_au, _ga; lifetime up to 90 days or 2 years) are stored on your device only if you allow it in the cookie notice; the legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent these tools store no cookies; Google only receives cookieless, aggregated signals used to estimate ad performance. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Google may transfer data to the US under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

(This right does not apply if the contract is concluded in person at the seller's premises.)
