Massage chairs: what separates 2D, 3D and 4D models

What drives the price of a massage chair is the roller mechanism that travels along your back, far more than the number of programmes. All 12 iRest models have an SL track that follows the spine from neck to thighs and eco leather upholstery, so the real difference is how deep the massage reaches.

  1. 2D

Rollers move up, down and sideways

Pressure depth is fixed; you adjust intensity with the air cells. A good choice for everyday unwinding after work, even in a smaller room. This group includes chairs for users up to 200 cm tall.

    €1,870 – €3,9707 models

  2. 3D

    Rollers also move in depth

The mechanism pushes the rollers forward into the muscle and you choose how deep the massage goes. It feels closer to a therapist’s hands, especially on the shoulders and lower back.

    €6,9701 model

  3. 4D

    The rhythm changes mid-stroke

The rollers speed up, slow down and change depth as they travel, much like a hand massage. The two top models add a second mechanism for the lower body in the same chair.

    €5,270 – €11,9704 models

Recommended prices including VAT. We deliver, carry in and set up the chair at your home anywhere in Slovenia. Whether delivery is free depends on the location and the model and is stated in your offer. Every chair has a 24-month warranty.

Massage chairs: questions before you buy

Our iRest massage chairs cost from €1,870 to €11,970 including VAT. 2D models cost from €1,870 to €3,970, 3D models €6,970 and 4D models from €5,270 to €11,970. The roller mechanism raises the price most; programmes and extras matter less.

A massage recliner is usually an armchair with vibration motors or a few air cells. A massage chair has a roller mechanism that travels along the spine, air cells for arms and legs, and it reclines fully. Every iRest model we sell is a massage chair in that sense.

Fully reclined, our massage chairs measure 158.5 to 208 cm in length and 73 to 86 cm in width. Models with Zero Wall slide forward as they recline, so they can stand about 10 cm from the wall. To carry one in, you need a doorway at least 80 cm wide.

For users up to 200 cm, choose Maesthron (A801), Dual Core V8 (A801-36), Supearl Open+ (A336-31), Chillin+ (A360) and Chillin Open (A360-31). For the other models the limit is between 180 and 195 cm. The maximum height is listed in each model’s specifications.

For pain from tense muscles and long hours of sitting, massage often helps. With an acute injury, pronounced sciatica, inflammation or unexplained sharp pain, see a doctor or physiotherapist first. Three things matter for the back: a mechanism that follows the spine (3D and 4D reach deeper into the muscle), back heating and the Zero Gravity position. Full-body stretching on the iOpen track comes with Maesthron (A801), Dual Core V8 (A801-36), Eagleton (BFH-4010), Brillactiq (A665) and Grandease (A550).

Every massage chair comes with a 24-month warranty. We carry out servicing ourselves with genuine iRest spare parts, so the chair never has to be shipped abroad.

All models are upholstered in eco leather. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth, without alcohol or harsh cleaners.
